• To provide medical and nursing care, support and counseling to the  people living with HIV/AIDS and enable them to cope  and live positively with HIV/AIDS
• To provide the best of diagnosis and treatment and make ‘ anti-retroviral’ medicine available for people living with HIV/AIDS through donor support and lobbying  with the government
• To create public awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and educate youth about various issues related to HIV/AIDS; design programs to prevent the spread HIV/AIDS with focus on high-risk population.
• To promote empowerment of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) & set up programs for income generation & rehabilitation of those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
• To promote & to protect the human rights of people who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS

Prevention is important where HIV/AIDS is concerned. The best means of achieving prevention of HIV/AIDS is through all round awareness of the spread of the virus. Action India has been working sincerely in this area of spreading awareness at all levels of the society. Different programs on HIV/AIDS have been running since 2000.
